What is Abstract Chain?
Abstract is an Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain that will hold its mainnet launch on January 27, 2025.
The chain is developed by Igloo Inc. – the company behind the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection. The community is regarding this January 27 mainnet launch as the biggest event of the NFT industry so far in 2025. This huge hype is thanks to the success of Pudgy Penguins, their $PENGU token, and the fact that this is Igloo Inc.‘s first major output as a brand.
Abstract is built from the ground-up to be consumer-focused. Luca Netz, CEO of Pudgy Penguins, has stated that Abstract hopes to “change the dynamic of how users interact with blockchain technology and easily merge both the real and digital worlds.”

What is available on Abstract?
Upon its launch on January 27, Abstract is expected to have an ecosystem of well of 100 NFT collections, NFT games, tools, apps and more.
This includes leading game-related projects such as Playember, Gigaverse and Dogami, NFT collections such as Abstract Pepes, Renga and Based Bulls, and popular infrastructure tools such as NFT marketplace Magic Eden, decentralised exchange Uniswap, and Web3 launchpad Seedify.
Dozens more NFT collections, games, platforms and more are set to debut over the coming weeks and months. This will include a number of in-house Pudgy Penguins titles, such as their Vibes TCG, and their online platform Pudgy World.
