Yuga Labs have announced that the fourth annual ApeFest, an exclusive festival for Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) holders, will be held in Lisbon, Portugal from October 18-20.
The event promises to “bring the Clubhouse to Lisbon”, where attendees can spend three days and two nights networking, sightseeing and partying with members of the BAYC team and some special guests.
BAYC and MAYC holders can attend for free, with +1 tickets now available. Preorders for the ApeFest 2024 bundle, including a tee, socks and disposable camera – to be collected on site – are now available.
What will happen at ApeFest 2024?
As with previous ApeFest events, many of the details are shrouded in mystery until the event takes place – but if previous editions are anything to go by, expect celebrity guests, exclusive reveals and appearances from the best and brightest in web3.
ApeFest 2024 is set to include a packed weekend of BAYC-led and community-led events across Lisbon. ApeFest HQ will be the stunning, 16th century Convento do Beato events venue, with the LX Factory designated to play home to one of ApeFest’s infamous parties on October 2024.
Lisbon is fast-becoming a hotbed in Europe’s web3 scene. NFC Lisbon has been one of the most celebrated annual conferences in the industry in recent years, and the region is ripe with web3 talent and interest.
Further details on ApeFest 2024 are set to be revealed via Bored Ape Yacht Club’s X account.
How can I attend?
Tickets to ApeFest 2024 are available for free to all BAYC and MAYC holders (bar a refundable deposit), and were initially available on May 21. Tickets were available in two waves on a first-come, first-serve basis, with BAYC holders getting priority access ahead of MAYC holders.
Each holder could also pay for a +1 ticket for $269 USD. All tickets include access to the entire ApeFest 2024 weekend, not including travel, accommodation or other such expenses.
Those without a ticket right now may still be able to attend. A waitlist is now live on the ApeFest website for those who’d like to attend. Each ticket and +1 slot is being manually managed by the BAYC team this year, with any remaining or returned tickets being made available to those on the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
