Arcas Champions, a play-to-earn, competitive third person shooter game developed by Arcas Games, has launched a limited-time demo on Steam for Steam Next Fest 2025.
The demo is available until March 3rd at 10 AM PT, offering players a first look at the game before its Early Access release, planned for later this year.
Arcas Games has worked with outsourcing studio to Bevium to prepare a demo in time Next Fest, a week-long even hosted by Valve on the Steam platform, showcasing upcoming PC games through free, limited-time demos.
Next Fest is an opportunity for the developers of Arcas Champions to get their game in front of Steam’s 132 million-strong monthly active user base – most of which are web2 gamers.

What is Arcas Champions?
Arcas Champions is a team-based third-person ability shooter set on the Ape Homeworld, where rival factions—Village Elite traditionalists and renegade misfits—battle for control of a mysterious energy source called Bastonium.
To gain the upper hand prior to the game’s full launch, players can mint Bastonium Crystals for free tomorrow, February 28th, on Soneium.
In terms of gameplay, players can choose from a roster of Champions with a unique set abilities and engage in intense combat across various game modes, including team deathmatch (Tribe Wars), elimination (Brawl) and extraction (Banana Fever).
The game features an arsenal of fruit-based weaponry, from pineapple-grenades to melon-powered rifles and banana-pistols for a lighthearted but competitive experience.
The developers plan to expand the game significantly post-launch, with a full campaign, local and online co-op survival modes, and an evolving in-game progression system, plus a number of web3 features not included in the demo.

How to Play the Demo?
The demo launched on the Steam store on February 24th, the start of Next Fest, and is available to download until March 3rd.
Since it was developed specifically for Next Fest, it is not expected to be playable beyond the end of the event, so interested players need to move fast.
The demo is exclusive to Steam despite being listed on Epic Games, though the Early Access version of the game is expected to launch on both platforms.
