Renowed NFT artist Mike “Beeple” Winkelmann has announced PepeFest 2024, a one-day event celebrating the community and culture around Matt Furie‘s infamous 2005 creation, coming to Beeple Studios in Charleston, South Carolina on August 10.
Guests will join Beeple, alongside a raft of other speakers and artists, to celebrate Pepe the Frog, discover its origins and its cultural impact to date.
With insightful talks, community art showcases and live art performances, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in proceedings across the day to win a variety of “badass prizes”.
What will happen at PepeFest 2024?
The first PepeFest event produced and held at Beeple Studios, PepeFest 2024 promises at allow “Peptopians” from around the world to connect and immerse themselves in a joint celebration of this internet icon.
The one-day event – held August 10 at Beeple Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina – will be split into two parts.
The Day Event, from 12pm to 4pm, includes a variety of speakers, art showcases, competitions and more, with interactive installations and a documentary screening to be held. The Night Event, from 8pm to 12pm, includes more competitions, more artist showcases, and a live “Everyday” from Beeple himself.
How can I attend PepeFest 2024?
Tickets to PepeFest 2024 are available for free to all Pepe Coin holders and those who hold Rare Pepe, Pepe Editions, Replicator NFTs or Beeple/Beeple Collaboration NFTs. Holders will receive 2 non-transferable tickets per wallet or per NFT, with each ticket allowing the holder to bring additional guests.
Non-holders can join a waitlist for remaining tickets. There will also be ample opportunities to win tickets via social media giveaways, art competitions and other community-related engagements.
All attendees must be over 21 years of age. PepeFest are arranging free shuttles within Charlotte to and from both the Day and Night Events, free of charge from their offsite parking location.
