Over the past few years, MetaMask has been the undisputed #1 of Web3 wallets. Many contemporaries are hot on its heels however – and one in particular is challenging the status quo.

We had a quick chat with CEO Donnie Dinch to discuss the progress Bitski has made, why he believes Bitski is better than MetaMask, and their fight to become the best multi-chain wallet available.

John: MetaMask is the current leader in ETH-based wallets. Why should a MetaMask user consider using Bitski?

Donnie: Mobile is the future, and Bitski?s mobile wallet runs laps around MetaMask. Their mobile implementation is truly terrible ? take a look at this Tweet.

There?s a lot of things that we do better: transaction simulation, providing vaults for people new to NFTs, human readable activity feed ? the list goes on. But ultimately, it comes down to ethos and vision. We?re 100% confident that NFTs (and ownership) will be deeply ingrained into our digital life.

We expect wallets to be as prevalent as email addresses in the next few years ? so we focused on building a wallet that?s accessible to everyone.

John: What can we expect from Bitski across the rest of 2023?

Donnie:?We are focusing on becoming the best multi-chain wallet for users – especially ETH and Polygon. We recently launched our Wallet-as-a-Service offering so that games and brands can bring digital ownership to the next billion users.

This year, for example, we launched a partnership with CoinDesk, which drove exponential growth of new reader accounts for the CoinDesk team. This technology will enable brands and organizations around the world to seamlessly bring wallets to their platforms.

For the rest of 2023, we will be focusing on our Wallet-as-a-Service partnerships with brands, creators, and games to fruition before exploring other chains.
