Earn Alliance, an upcoming community platform for Web3 games, has announced that its alpha launch will take place on December 15, following a recent $4.75mil seed round.
With the blockchain gaming industry in its infancy, many would agree that tokenomics has incorrectly been the focus, alienating traditional gamers whilst leaving many disillusioned in the face of the bear market.
The Earn Alliance platform aims to connect quality, fun-first Web3 games to growing guilds and communities, whilst exploring a more nuanced and considered approach to the concept of earning tokens.
Joseph Cooper, founder and CEO of Earn Alliance, said:
“We recognize that the Web3 game industry is just beginning – involving highly experimental tokenomics and entrepreneurs exploring the challenge of building network effects. This is why we’re launching a Web3 game discoverability platform for gamers instead of traders. Our content will focus on the fun that Web3 games offer versus speculating on their economics, to help onboard traditional gamers to Web3.”
The Earn Alliance platform will showcase a curated list of entertainment-focused Web3 games, with announced launch titles including Polygon god game Apeiron, metaverse service Ethlas, and retro beat-’em-up Krypto Fighters.
An in-built mission system will help guide new users into a variety of games and communities that suit them, incentivising game discovery whilst providing developers with a dependable method of acquiring players.
On top of this, Earn Alliance will also display community-generated reviews, guides and articles, providing users with a wealth of accessible information on featured titles.
Alex Felix, Managing Partner at seed investor CoinFund, said:
“Supporting companies like Earn Alliance allows CoinFund to play an integral part in the safe adoption of Web3 gaming assets. It’s exciting to have an opportunity to work with a company that is focused on one of the most important and often overlooked aspects of web3 gaming: FUN!”
Ian Emerson, Associate at Fabric Ventures, added:
“This is an opportunity for someone to build tooling that can facilitate orders of magnitude more transactions than we have seen to date. We believe Coop and the team at Earn Alliance, with multiple successful exits in cloud tooling, mobile gaming, and Web3 infrastructure experience, are the perfect candidates to tackle this.”

This time tomorrow, we’ll get the first glimpse of if Earn Alliance can be the pioneer for Web3 gaming that it aims to become. By focusing on building a user-friendly, community-centric platform where entertainment comes first, they’re certainly pointing in the right direction. Time will tell all!
