Ubisoft is set to release a 10,000-piece NFT collection in collaboration with Magic Eden, tied to its upcoming game Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E..
These NFTs, called Niji Warrior IDs, will be minted on the Ethereum Layer-2 network, Arbitrum.
Players who hold Niji Warrior IDs will gain early access to the top-down multiplayer shooter, featuring characters from iconic Ubisoft franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Beyond Good & Evil.

What are the benefits to holding Niji Warrior ID?
The Niji Warrior ID NFT collection provides players with early access to Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E., set in a dystopian universe inspired by the Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.
In addition to early access, Niji Warrior ID holders will unlock further in-game advantages as their NFTs evolve based on their gameplay.
These NFTs will also serve as governance tokens, enabling players to influence game updates and decisions, though Ubisoft has yet to disclose full details on how this system will function.

NFT Minting Schedule
The minting of the Niji Warrior ID collection is expected to take place soon, with many players already gaining early access through beta tests and community events.
Whilst footage from the closed beta is limited due to non-disclosure agreements, early impressions suggest the game will feature high-energy multiplayer combat in a top-down shooter format.
This collection will be minted on Arbitrum, a Layer-2 Ethereum solution, marking the first time Magic Eden supports Arbitrum on its platform, which has previously hosted projects on networks like Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum.
