ChronoForge have announced the upcoming mint of Totem NFTs on Abstract Chain, set to take place on February 24 at 17:00 EST.
The mint will occur in two phases, beginning with a whitelist period followed by a public sale, both operating on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis.
This announcement follows ChronoForge’s recent migration to Abstract Chain and its approval as an official Nintendo Switch publisher. With the introduction of Totem NFTs, players will have the opportunity to acquire limited edition in-game assets and participate in seasonal competitions for rewards.
What is a ChronoForge Totem NFT?
Totem NFTs are in-game asset that can be burned in exchange for various rewards on ChronoForge.
It grants players access to limited edition NFT mounts, gear, and playable races, some of which provide unique in-game benefits. Additionally, burning a Totem NFT unlocks the game’s currency, which is used to obtain different classes, traits, and perks.
The Totem NFT also serves as an entry pass for ChronoForge’s seasonal leaderboard competitions. Players who enter these competitions can earn the upcoming $CHRONO token, with certain NFTs offering multipliers that boost rewards by up to 200% for a given season. The rarity of each NFT is randomised at minting, with Rare, Epic, and Legendary tiers available, alongside purely cosmetic Exotic variations.
What to expect from the game?
Each Totem NFT tier provides different levels of in-game benefits and currency rewards:
- Rare: Includes the Koala playable race, Umu Rustler cosmetic, Baby Umu pet NFT, a 40% $CHRONO competition reward boost, and 2,500 Forge Stamps (used to unlock adventurer traits, cosmetics, and classes).
- Epic: Includes all Rare tier rewards plus the Saurian race, a Giant Battle Crab combat mount, an 80% $CHRONO reward boost, and 10,000 Forge Stamps.
- Legendary: Includes all Rare rewards plus the Imperial Rex mount, a 200% $CHRONO reward boost, and 20,000 Forge Stamps.
The Totem NFT mint will be priced in ETH on Abstract Chain, but the final cost has yet to be disclosed.
The whitelist phase will last four hours, granting priority access to Adventurer, Airship, and Land NFT holders, before the public phase opens for a two-hour window.
