Popular Web3 trading card game Cross The Ages have announced that Phase 2 of their Closed Playtest for Blast – a new version of their ever-popular TCG experience – is set to begin on June 25.
Running until June 30, players will have the opportunity to experience a number of core gameplay changes – and could be in with a chance of winning an exclusive card for their trouble.
The Cross The Ages team have stated that Phase 2 “remains focused on the heart of the experience”, but that on top of that, “new mechanics, balancing, and visual adjustments have now been integrated.”

What is Cross The Ages?
Cross The Ages is a Web3 trading card game, built on Immutable, and available on PC, iOS and Android.
Originally made available in September 2022, players build a deck of powerful cards to face opponents in grid-based 1v1 duels. With over 700 cards to collect, an in-depth system of elements, abilities and field cards, and a community of well over 100,000 players, it’s regarded as one of the hottest titles in blockchain gaming.
Blast is the next-generation of the Cross The Ages experience, and is currently in its closed testing phases. A number of core adjustments have been made – such as replacing the former points-based system with a HP-based system, adding an Energy bar, simplifying the Heptagram and much more, with the aim to create an upgraded experience that will appeal to new and existing players alike.
How can I join the Blast closed playtest?
Phase 2 of the Closed Playtest for Blast will only be available for players that have a validated KYC account, and that own a Mint Pass on their KYC’d account.

By playing five duels – either custom or ranked – during this Phase 2 Closed Playtest, you will unlock Palmer – The Transcended on your test account at the end of the test on June 30.
