DFZ Labs, the team behind the popular Deadfellaz NFT collection, is minting a new collection – titled Ghost Machine – later today.
Ghost Machine is “a hyper-pop art character collection”, with 50,000 total NFT collectibles available to mint on ApeChain, priced at $1 USD each.
Holders of Deadfellaz and Deadfrenz NFTs will be able to mint a Ghost Machine NFT for free starting at 16 UTC, with guaranteed (GTD), first-come-first-served (FCFS) and public mints opening at 18 UTC, 20 UTC and 22 UTC respectively.
This is the latest of several developments in the works by DFZ Labs, including upcoming trading card game Death Touch, verification tool Coldlink, and Roblox-based game Wallhugger.

What is Ghost Machine?
Ghost Machine is an upcoming 50,000-piece NFT collection, minting on ApeChain on June 13.
The collection features a “hyper-pop art” style, with the choice of blockchain – amongst other choices – having been decided by the community over the past several weeks via the social media profiles of DFZ Labs founders Psych and Betty.
Utility for the Ghost Machine NFT collection has yet to be discussed, though as multiple DFZ Labs products are currently in development, there may be some crossover between Ghost Machine and some of their upcoming projects.
In an announcement to Deadfellaz holders on Discord, Psych expressed his opinion that Ghost Machine will be “the best PFP collection on ApeChain”, with members of the Deadfellaz community excited for its arrival.
How do I mint a Ghost Machine NFT?
Ghost Machine NFTs will be available to mint on June 13 via Blever, starting at 16 UTC.
The mint will take place across four stages:
- Holder Phase, 16 UTC: holders of Deadfellaz or Deadfrenz NFTs will be able to mint 1 NFT for free
- GTD Phase, 18 UTC: holders of Deadfellaz or Deadfrenz NFTs can mint up to 10 NFTs at $1 USD each
- FCFS Phase, 20 UTC: holders of partner collections can mint up to 10 NFTs at $1 USD each
- Public Phase, 22 UTC: any remaining NFTs will open to the public for $1 USD each
Some of these partner collections which have provided direct or gated FCFS access include Bored Ape Yacht Club, Cool Cats and many more.
