Web3 survival RPG Decimated has finally entered open alpha on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, after many years of development.
With the launch of the open alpha, the game has debuted new features, improvements and upgrades. Plenty of new missions are now available, and further utility has been introduced for Decimated’s $DIO token – meaning cyborg cops, rogue marauders and neutral citizens have a variety of new ways to play.
The open alpha phase also kick-starts the fight for a $10,000 USD prize pool, to be awarded to the top players across this phase of the game.
What is Decimated?
Decimated is a free-to-play web3-enabled third-person multiplayer survival RPG, built on Solana.
Developed by Fracture Labs, players select one of three paths – cop, marauder or citizen – before embarking on a fight for survival across a hostile wasteland. By exploring the open world, joining factions and completing missions, players work towards earning NFT collectibles – as well as the game’s $DIO token.
The open alpha of Decimated is now available on PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store, with future phases expected to arrive across 2025.
What’s new in the Decimated open alpha?
With the arrival of open alpha for Decimated, an array of new features, improvements and upgrades have made their debut.
Alongside a set of fresh missions, and the $10,000 USD prize pool, quality-of-life improvements are aplenty. Players can now switch between their various characters with ease, and the all-new vehicle panel makes spawning your ride that much simpler.
The new Trader Outpost safe zone gives players a secure area to trade, restock and strategize. Changes to survival mechanics, weapons, and vehicles create a more fluid and customizable experience – and with improved Unreal Engine 5 visuals, Decimated is more visually appealing than ever before.
$DIO is now fully-integrated into the game, with players able to both earn and stake the token for rewards. Future releases are expected to expand on this, with seasonal updates to arrive soon.
