Popular NFT collection and brand Doodles has officially introduced its native token, $DOOD.
The token, which will initially launch on the Solana blockchain with plans for future integration with Base, is designed to strengthen the project’s decentralisation efforts.
As part of the announcement, Doodles outlined that 68% of the total supply of the token would be allocated to its community, marking a clear focus on empowering its supporters and allowing them to play a more active role in the ecosystem’s growth.
What is $DOOD?
The $DOOD token is a digital asset created by Doodles to facilitate community involvement and governance within its ecosystem.
With a total supply of 10 billion tokens, $DOOD will initially be launched on the Solana blockchain, with a bridge to Base planned for the future. The token will serve as a key component in Doodles’ decentralisation strategy, offering a means for holders to participate in decision-making processes and other features within the ecosystem.
A large portion of the token supply will be allocated to the Doodles community, ensuring that those who have supported the project play a central role in its future direction. Other portions of the supply will be designated for liquidity, the project’s team, the ecosystem fund, and the company. The breakdown of the allocation is as follows:
