Dookey Dash: Unclogged, the latest iteration of the BAYC-branded endless runner game, is now available in six countries, ahead of an anticipated global launch later this summer.
Developed by Faraway in collaboration with Superfine, Dookey Dash: Unclogged introduces additional game modes, new content and an array of fresh prizes.
The announcement on X marked a significant milestone for the developers, although they acknowledged the game’s delay and emphasized their community commitment to delivering a polished experience upon the global release.

Why was Dookey Dash: Unclogged delayed?
According to a post from Yuga Labs, Phase 2 of the Dookey Dash: Unclogged rollout was anticipated to include seven more countries – Canada, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Netherlands, UK, & France – following a technical playtest in March, with the global launch originally scheduled for May 2024.
This date came and went, with the global rollout of Dookey Dash: Unclogged now aimed to take place before “the end of this summer”. Whilst the delay might disappoint fans, Faraway assures that it is necessary for them to complete work that’s vital to the game’s success. “We know this is a bummer, but we promise you any delays are a direct result of our need to ensure this game sticks. Hard.”
“You only get one shot at a worldwide launch for a mobile game. So that first touch has to be really special and frictionless,” said Greg Solano, Co-founder of Bored Ape Yacht Club creators Yuga Labs. “We’re hellbent on Dookey Dash getting on millions of phones and putting Yuga and BAYC into everyone’s pocket.”

What can we expect from Dookey Dash: Unclogged?
In the announcement, Faraway showcased Arcade Mode, an objective-based level-by-level experience that aims to familiarize players with new mechanics whilst rewarding them with in-game unlocks.
“There’s a LOT of tuning and new features for Dookey Dash that we’re working on with Faraway and Superfine,” added Solano. “All with the goal of making sure that the game is a blast not just for apes, but for people who’ve never touched crypto and know nothing about BAYC.”
Previews of more new features are anticipated to arrive in the coming weeks as Dookey Dash: Unclogged prepares for its global release, with Faraway stating that they’ll be showcasing elements that even beta testers have yet to see.
