Today (May 18), the iconic fashion doll brand Barbie and leading women-led web3 project Boss Beauties are holding the inaugural general sale of their Virtual Collectibles. These PFP-style assets, contained within packs, include unique perks, such as access to “Career Conversations”, sticker packs, World of Barbie tickets and more!

When is the Boss Beauties x Barbie Virtual Collectibles drop?
The Boss Beauties x Barbie Virtual Collectibles pack drop takes place on May 18 at 16:00 UTC, in coordination with the Boss Beauties x Barbie activation at VeeCon 2023.
To purchase these packs, you’ll need to sign-up via the Mattel Creations website, which requires a simple email & password combination.
Alongside the drop, Boss Beauties are honouring the collaboration by donating $250,000 to benefit the Barbie Dream Gap Project, a global initiative giving resources, support and inspiration to young girls, and the Boss Beauties Foundation, a global programme which invests in research, advocacy, mentorships and scholarships for girls around the world.
How much do the packs cost, and what do they contain?
A single Boss Beauties x Barbie Virtual Collectibles pack costs $25, payable via credit/debit card, with a maximum of 8 packs per order.
Each pack contains 4 Virtual Collectibles, guaranteed to include two Common collectibles, one Uncommon collectible, and one Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare or Exclusive collectible. The collectibles depict Boss Beauties x Barbie characters in a range of careers, including artists, astronauts, CEOs, doctors, vets, pilots, and more.
Once the drop is live, these Boss Beauties x Barbie Virtual Collectibles will be available to buy, sell and trade with other collectors on the Mattel Creations Virtual Marketplace.

What perks do holders receive?
All holders of Boss Beauties x Barbie Virtual Collectibles will receive access to Career Conversations; virtual events with prominent women in a variety of fields to inspire women and girls to reach their dreams.
Holders of Super Rare rarity collectibles will receive a Career Sticker Pack, including a selection of exclusive stickers depicting the collectibles featured in the release.
Ultra Rare rarity collectible holders will receive a Barbie Career of the Year Doll Set, featuring the iconic doll in a wide variety of leading careers, with previous editions including dentists, doctors, teachers and more.
Exclusive rarity virtual collectibles, the rarest in the release, grant holders a ticket to the World of Barbie, a real-world Barbie-themed immersive experience, with locations in Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
