90?s kids rejoice – The Matrix is coming to WAX!
At 19:00 UTC tomorrow, Funko are releasing?Series 1 of their Digital Pop! packs featuring iconic Matrix characters.?Neo, Trinity and Morpheus?and more all get the Funko treatment ? and as always, there?s physical Funko figurines to collect.
Let?s take a look at how you can acquire these limited-edition NFTs.
When Is The Pack Drop?
The drop will take place tomorrow (November 15) at 19:00 UTC via Droppp.?You?ll need to set up a free Droppp account beforehand, as any packs you buy will be sent there. Don’t worry though – purchased packs and NFTs can be easily transferred to your WAX-compatible wallet of choice post-drop.
There’s a queue you can join a bit before the drop starts – make sure to keep an on their Discord announcements for when the queue opens. Once you reach the front of the queue, you’ll be able to buy your packs!
How Much Will The Packs Cost?
Two types of pack are available:
- Standard Packs (5 NFTs, 18,750 total minted): $9.99 USD
- Premium Packs (15 NFTs, 18,750 total minted): $29.99 USD
Payment can be made via Credit/Debit Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with a $60 USD limit per transaction.
What Do The Packs Contain?
There’s a variety of Digital Pop! cards (5 in Standard, 15 in Premium) in 8 possible rarities available in each pack, with a slightly higher probability of pulling a 1-of-1 or Series Coin NFT from the Premium Packs.

If you’re lucky enough to unpack a Legendary (1.65%) or Grail (0.27%) NFT, hold onto it until March 15, 2023, as you?ll be airdropped a special redemption token that can be exchanged for a limited-edition physical Pop!
There are six exclusive physical collectibles in this series, with 1,550 each available of Trinity, The Twins, Neo and Morpheus, and 999 of Neo.
Don?t give up if you?re unable to unpack a Legendary or Grail Funko! By completing your Royalty Set ? obtaining one of each Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Digital Pop! in this release ? you?ll be able to redeem 1 of the 2,000 exclusive physical Freddy Funko as Neo.
