Web3 extraction shooter Engines of Fury has launched The Antigen closed playtest, offering 25,000 $FURY – over $3,000 USD at the time of writing – as a prize pool.
Running until October 30, the playtest will see players compete in fast-paced PVP combat in this top-down title, with the top players able to secure a significant share of the prize pool on offer.
The playtest also offers the first chance to explore the game’s mission system, and get to grips with the title’s mechanics, ahead of a full release that’s slated to arrive before the end of 2024.
What is Engines of Fury?
Engines of Fury is a free-to-play top-down PVP extraction shooter, available on PC.
Players face-off in an 8-person competitive PVP setting, with the goal to secure antigen vials, fight off both other players and NPC enemies, and get out alive.
The game utilises the BNB-based $FURY token, used for buying and creating in-game NFTs, staking for rewards, and as a prize for tournament success. Engines of Fury plans to expand to other major blockchains in future.
What can I earn during The Antigen playtest?
By taking part in The Antigen playtest, players will climb the Furious Survivor leaderboard.
The top 50 players on this leaderboard by the conclusion of the playtest will share the 25,000 $FURY prize pool – with first place taking home 3,000 $FURY – over $350 USD at the time of writing.
Content creators are also competing for positions on the Furious Host leaderboard, with an additional 11,500 $FURY prize pool up for grabs for those who engage with the community and help to grow the playerbase.
Throughout the playtest, participants can also earn bonus $FURY drops in special in-game events. These events will be held randomly, and encourage players to stay active and engaged during the playtest for the best chance of acquiring rewards.
