Web3 ARPG Fableborne has announced that it will migrate to the Ronin network, moving away from the Avalanche blockchain.
The news is the latest boon for the Ronin network, who has seen its presence explode in 2024 with the success of titles such as Pixels and Wild Forest. Pixion Games, the developers of Fableborne, will become an official third-party developer for the Ronin ecosystem through this deal.
The partnership marks a notable expansion for Ronin’s ecosystem, as their games to this point have attracted a large Southeast Asia and Latin America audience, whilst Pixion is a European studio with a notably different playerbase.

What is Fableborne?
Fableborne is a free-to-play web3 action RPG, available to play on both iOS and Android. Players build island bases, form alliances with other players, and defend what they’ve build whilst raiding their opponents.
Developed by Pixion Games, Fableborne is described as “Diablo meets Clash Royale”. Players build and upgrade bases as in the latter, whilst building and commanding a squad of Heroes as in the former.
The game is in its early stages, with Pixion looking to create “short, snackable sessions” for competitive play. The goal is to allow time-limited players a chance to succeed, whilst rewarding more dedicated players in an appropriate fashion.

What impact will this move have?
Both Pixion Studios and Sky Mavis – creators of the Ronin network – are confident that the move will give Fableborne a better platform for success.
“Fableborne has already gained impressive traction outside of Ronin, and we’re excited to bring it onto our platform,” said Trung Nguyen, CEO and Co-founder of Sky Mavis. “Its unique mix of hack-and-slash RPG action, like Diablo, with base-building defense similar to Clash of Clans is something we haven’t seen before, and we believe it will engage both new and current players in our ecosystem.”
“What drew us to Ronin was not only their mobile-first approach but their incredible community – one that’s resilient, vocal, and deeply engaged,” said Kam Punia, CEO and founder of Pixion Games. “The Ronin team truly understands the midcore mobile experiences we’re creating with Fableborne, and we’re thrilled to work alongside a partner that shares our passion and operational expertise.”
