What is Valhalla?
Valhalla is a blockchain-enabled MMORPG developed by FLOKI, designed to operate fully in-browser. It combines traditional online role-playing elements with blockchain features such as on-chain item ownership and token-based rewards.
Players can collect and battle with NFT-based companions called Veras in hex-based combat arenas. The game world also includes open exploration, crafting, and a player-influenced economy. Whilst blockchain is integral to its mechanics, core gameplay does not require specialised cryptocurrency knowledge to access.
The game is powered by the $FLOKI token, which can be earned through gameplay. Items and characters are represented as NFTs, giving players the option to trade or retain them across sessions.

What’s next for Valhalla?
The live version of Valhalla includes recent additions such as new Veras, amulets for additional strategy, and a new in-game resource called Vera Essence. Whilst no specific roadmap has been publicly disclosed, ongoing development is expected, based on the update pattern established during the testnet period.
The launch comes as part of FLOKI’s broader strategy to build a multi-product ecosystem aimed at offering utility for its token. The group’s other platforms include Floki Staking, a trading bot, and TokenFi—a service that allows for asset tokenisation.
The performance of Valhalla will likely serve as a test case for whether large-scale blockchain games can deliver lasting engagement beyond initial token incentives.
