Web3 trading card game Gods Unchained has announced that their latest expansion set, titled Guardians of Elderym, will release on June 24.
This latest expansion, which marks “a groundbreaking moment in the game’s evolution”, will introduce 76 new cards, 7 Legendary Guardians, and six exclusive 1-of-1 Mythic art variants to the popular title.
The expansion is a crossover between Gods Unchained and another fledgling Immutable-based title: mobile RPG Guild of Guardians, giving players the opportunity to “wield the powers of iconic Guild of Guardians characters as fully playable, collectible trading cards in Gods Unchained.”

What is Gods Unchained?
Gods Unchained is a free-to-play Web3 trading card game, built on Immutable, and available on both PC and mobile.
Players select a God from one of six domains, building themed decks of creature and spell cards to compete against other players in head-to-head matches.
Similar to physical trading card games, each card in Gods Unchained can come in a variety of rarities, with players able to own their cards as NFT collectibles on Immutable. This allows players to buy, sell and trade their cards with other players, as with a physical TCG, through marketplaces such as TokenTrove and AtomicHub.
The game is powered by the $GODS token – rewarded through gameplay, and used to purchase card packs, acquire cards on the secondary market, and engage in premium modes and features.
How can I purchase Guardians of Elderym cards?
The Guardians of Elderym expansion set will be made available through a trio of new card packs, available via the Gods Unchained website on June 24:
- Booster Pack ($1.99 USD, 30,000 available): most likely to include Common-rarity cards
- Premium Pack ($19.99 USD, 3,000 available): most likely to include Rare-rarity cards
- Shiny Pack ($199.99 USD, 600 available): only includes Epic-rarity and above cards
Each pack contains 6 cards. Purchases must be made using a Immutable-supported wallet, but can be paid in $GODS, $ETH, $IMX, $GOG or $USDC.
This expansion also adds a variety of new features to the game, including the Level Up keyword – which activates card effects depending on the amount of mana you’ve spent. Other additions include new Sealed mode rewards and new Trinkets – and as with all new expansions, a post-release Balancing Phase will see live changes made to these new cards before their final state locked in.
