Off the Grid creator Gunzilla Games in partnership with Delphi Ventures have introduced the GUNZ Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to managing the $GUN token and the soon-to-launch GUNZ blockchain mainnet.
The foundation’s mission is to merge traditional gaming with blockchain technology, ensuring that web3 features enhance gameplay without becoming obstacles for players unfamiliar with cryptocurrency.
Backed by Delphi Ventures’ expertise in blockchain ecosystems, this initiative promises to seamlessly integrate tokenomics into the popular cyberpunk battle royale title Off The Grid.
What will the GUNZ Foundation bring to web3 gaming?
The GUNZ Foundation was established to oversee the smooth integration of blockchain technology into Off The Grid. Its primary focus is managing the $GUN token whilst ensuring accessibility, fairness, and a player-first approach.
To simplify onboarding, the foundation will introduce automated digital wallet creation for new players, minimizing technical barriers. The foundation will also actively monitor for potential exploitative practices, such as pay-to-win dynamics. Measures like fair trade policies and player education on sustainable practices aim to cultivate an equitable and balanced ecosystem.
