Heroes of Mavia has released its 2025 roadmap, outlining a full year of updates aimed at expanding the game’s reach and setting the stage for a broader blockchain gaming ecosystem.
The roadmap introduces major changes, including the shift from Ruby 1.0 to Ruby 2.0 and the gradual transition to a new digital asset platform, Nexira DAEP. These updates are designed to support interoperability across multiple games and lay the groundwork for AI-driven features in the future.
The rollout will span all four quarters of 2025, with milestones targeting both the in-game experience and the underlying infrastructure. Early highlights include the launch of new tournaments, seasonal rewards, and building upgrades—culminating in a global platform release and new systems for land trading and NFT crafting by year’s end.

What’s in the Heroes of Mavia Roadmap 2025 ?
The 2025 roadmap is divided into quarterly segments, with each phase delivering new features and ecosystem expansions:
- Q1 2025: This quarter saw the successful launch of the Mavia Marketplace & Exchange (MPEX) and the start of development on Nexira DAEP. Game balancing updates were rolled out, and Level Rewards for Season 1 were also distributed.
- Q2 2025: MPEX will begin its transition to Nexira DAEP. Ruby 1.0 will be replaced by Ruby 2.0 in a 1:1 token swap. New in-game features include weekly tournaments, an Earth Day event, updates to Alliance Donations and the leaderboard system, along with the release of Season 2 rewards.
- Q3 2025: The beta launch of Nexira DAEP is planned, along with the release of five new games that will be fully integrated into the platform. Game content updates include HQ level 10, new heroes and weapons, a Lucky Wheel feature, and a World Chocolate Day event. Season 3 rewards will also be issued within this period.
- Q4 2025: This quarter marks the full global rollout of Nexira DAEP with key additions to the game including HQ 11, the introduction of Land Trading, Alliance Wars, and NFT Crafting. Advanced features, ecosystem integrations, and scalability improvements are expected, alongside Season 4 rewards. The team has also hinted at a potential land rental system for NFT landholders.

What to expect during Ruby 2.0 migration?
According to a recent announcement, the migration to Ruby 2.0 is scheduled to begin around April 18. This will be a direct 1:1 swap, meaning players will retain the same balance in the new system. The conversion process is designed to maintain value whilst enabling more flexible integration with future ecosystem games.
The updated Ruby token, capped at 2.16 billion pre-minted tokens, will be distributed across six games within the Nexira DAEP framework—Heroes of Mavia included. Whilst the earning formula will remain unchanged, the method of distribution will shift to reflect this broader allocation model.
Shortly after the token migration, MPEX is expected to complete its transition to Nexira DAEP on April 25, bringing asset trading and marketplace functions under the new multi-game platform.
