Illuvium Opens Competitive Season 1 with Test Tournament

Illuvium officially launched its competitive play framework on July  5with a structured test tournament involving 32 players. The one-day event, which ran for around seven hours, served as a dry run for the upcoming Competitive Season 1 and was designed to gather feedback on match structure, pacing, and logistics.

Players from across the globe were invited to participate, regardless of skill level. The tournament featured a modest prize pool, with the top 16 players receiving $ILV token rewards. Though limited in scale, the test event is expected to influence the structure of future competitions, including larger seasonal tournaments and a planned World Championship later this year.
