Illuvium has announced a partnership with Samsung for a showcase at Gamescom 2024, focusing on integrating the Illuvium gaming universe with Samsung’s web3-enabled televisions.
The collaboration will combine Samsung’s TV technology with Illuvium’s game environments to offer a more interactive experience for players.
Attendees will have the opportunity to obtain one of 10 limited GEN3RATOR NFTs.

What to expect from this partnership at Gamescom 2024?
Visitors to the Samsung booth can explore Illuvium’s three core games: Overworld, Arena, and Zero. Each game presents different gameplay elements, including exploration, combat, and city management.
In addition, Kieran Warwick, CEO and Co-founder of Illuvium, will participate in the “Good Morning Gamescom” panel to discuss Illuvium’s recent developments and future plans.
The partnership will also extend beyond the event through Samsung’s GEN3RATOR campaign, part of their TX1 initiative. Illuvium ($ILV) one of two gaming partners in this campaign, which aims to distribute digital assets, including the Samsung Gen3 Chip and exclusive NFTs.

Samsung’s Commitment to Exploring Web3 Technology
Samsung has been actively exploring web3 and blockchain technology through various partnerships, and this collaboration with Illuvium is not their first.
Previously, Samsung collaboraed with Illuvium to offer a limited-time NFT bundle through its web3-enabled TVs, where customers who purchased certain Samsung TV models could receive exclusive NFTs from the Illuvium universe.
Previous collaboration includes partnership with NiftyGateway to launch an NFT Smart TV service, Samsung’s partnership with Decentraland for a virtual store in the metaverse, and collaboration with Theta Labs to support digital asset storage on Galaxy smartphones.
These efforts reflect Samsung’s focus on incorporating emerging technologies into its consumer offerings.
