Illuvium: Beyond’s Illuvitars Wave One Drop Is Now Live
The spin-off interactive adventure and collectible card game in the Illuvium universe is live – and their genesis set drop is now available!
The Illuvitars are here!
Illuvium, an open-world exploration game, city builder and autobattler on ImmutableX, has launched Illuvium: Beyond – a spin-off interactive adventure and collectible card game experience – and with it, the Illuvitars Wave One drop is now live.
This genesis set of Illuvitars – customisable PFP NFTs – is the first of many time-limited sets to come, and features 150+ unique, exclusive and configurable Illuvials.
What is Illuvium: Beyond?
Illuvium: Beyond is a spin-off to the core Illuvium experience, combining an interactive adventurer title with a collectible card game.
Players compete to collect the most powerful Illuvitar NFTs, with particular Illuvitar sets awarding players with points to climb the ranks of the leaderboard, unlocking additional utility within the Illuvium universe.
When is the Illuvitars Wave One drop?
The Illuvitars Wave One drop is live as of now (March 7, 22:00 UTC) on the Illuvium website.
To take part in the drop, you’ll need an Illuvium account and an Ethereum-compatible wallet, such as Metamask.
Upon purchase, the packs can be opened, and the contents traded on secondary marketplaces.
How much do the Illuvitars cost?
Two types of packs are available:
- Illuvitar D1SK (100,000 available; contains 1x random Illuvitar, 3x accessories, 1x bonus Tier 0 Illuvitar) for 0.005 ETH
- Illuvitar Mega D1SK (20,000 available; contains 1x random Illuvitar, 3x accessories, 1x guaranteed Rare Illuvitar) for 0.025 ETH
Payments can be made with Ethereum. Each Illuvitar has multiple expressions, finishes and backgrounds to collect. Mega D1SK’s have a higher chance of dropping rare Illuvitars.
How will the funds raised be used?
Proceeds generated from the Illuvitars Wave One mint will be directed to a $15 million “Safety Pool”, used to mitigate the risk of uncertain macroeconomic conditions by providing an emergency cash source, if necessary, to sustain the Illuvium DAO.
Kieran Warwick, Co-Founder at Illuvium, said:
“In the world of Web3 gaming, the power belongs to the players. The Illuvium DAO’s groundbreaking initiative to use revenue generated from digital collectibles to fund game development is a testament to the transformative potential of this technology. By investing in their future, players become more than just fans – they become stakeholders in the game’s success.”
