Popular blockchain gaming platform Immutable has struck a “strategic alliance” with Yield Guild Games (YGG), one of the world’s largest Web3 gaming guilds.
As part of this alliance, $1 million USD in prizes will be rewarded to players through in-game challenges, and YGG will integrate the Immutable Passport – Immutable’s Web2-friendly wallet solution.
These quests, alongside further integrations, are expected to roll out across the remainder of 2024 and early 2025.
What will Immutable and YGG create together?
Alongside the rollout of $1 million in quest rewards and YGG’s integration of the Immutable Passport, the two parties will assist one another in other ways too.
On top of Immutable Passport, Yield Guild Games will look to integrate an array of Immutable’s other tools, to ensure that players can enjoy both a safe and a seamless web3 gaming experience.
Immutable will continue to support YGG’s in person events. They were a Platinum Sponsor of the recent YGG Play Summit, held in Manila, which hosted an in-person iteration of the popular GAM3 Awards on November 22.
