Pokémon-esque PRG Kuroro Wilds launches today February 5 at 20:00 UTC, offering a play-to-airdrop event with a massive 30 million $KURO tokens up for grabs.
Players can earn rewards through story missions, roguelite battles, and Gacha-based rewards, creating plenty of opportunities to claim a share of the prize pool.
Additionally, the event promises a memorable livestream moment as the game’s CEO, Kuroro Sage, will shave his head live on stream—a self-imposed consequence of missing the game’s original launch date.

What is Kuroro Wilds?
Kuroro Wilds is part of the larger Kuroro Beasts ecosystem, which also includes titles like Kuroro Ranch and Kuroro Brawl.
The game combines the nostalgic appeal of classic monster-catching RPGs with the cutting-edge possibilities of web3 technology, allowing players to capture, battle, and collect Beasts in a blockchain-powered world.
Set on the mysterious Kuroro Islands, the game offers both solo and multiplayer modes, with a focus on exploration, progression, and community engagement. Through web3-based mechanics, players can earn rewards whilst engaging with the game’s various systems.

What to expect from the alpha version?
The Alpha version of Kuroro Wilds offers a solid introduction to the game’s core features.
At launch, players can dive into four story-driven missions, which will guide them through the world of the Kuroro Islands. In addition to these narrative quests, daily roguelite battles will challenge players to fight waves of Beasts in the Light Forest whilst earning rewards.
One of the key features of the Alpha is the Gacha system, where players can collect Gacha Tickets by completing in-game and social objectives. These tickets can then be redeemed in the Toru Gacha Machine for items, Beast Eggs, and $KURO tokens.
For players who opt for the VIP Pass, additional rewards, including $KURO and $RON tokens, as well as exclusive NFTs, are available. Multiplayer mode and mobile compatibility will also be added in the future.

How to join the play-to-airdrop event?
To participate, players should ensure they have pre-registered for the game, which also grants them exclusive perks, including daily giveaway entries and VIP access discounts.
Over the next two weeks, players can participate in various activities—such as completing story missions, engaging in battles, and fulfilling social challenges—to collect Gacha Tickets. These tickets can then be used to redeem Treasure Eggs.
VIP Pass holders will have access to an exclusive VIP Gacha Machine, to access more rewards like $KURO, $RON, and NFTs.
The first event, “The Arrival,” will allocate 10 million $KURO through two reward pools:
- High Commitment Pool – For the most active players
- Broad Distribution Pool – For casual participants
Additionally, a referral program is also available offering an extra 10 million $KURO, with the top 1,000 referrers sharing the prize pool. Only “Qualified Referrals”—players who actively engage with the game—will be counted towards leaderboard rankings.
