Open-world survival game Lumiterra has officially launched its closed beta test, now live on the Ronin network.
This testing phase invites players to dive into the expansive MMO world and experience its features, all whilst vying for a share of $1 million USD in rewards.
Currently, the closed beta is accessible to whitelisted players on Android and PC/Mac. The iOS version is currently pending approval and will be available soon.
What is Lumiterra?
Lumiterra is a free-to-play MMORPG that integrates survival, crafting, exploration, and combat elements. Players can battle and tame NPC monsters, engage in agricultural tasks like planting and harvesting, and craft items for trade.
In the game, players can choose specializations in combat, agriculture, or gathering. Combat specialists can unlock advanced weapons and skills, agriculture specialists focus on taming creatures and managing resources, whilst gathering specialists collect materials for crafting.
Newcomers start with quests guided by Gunner the knight, who will provide an introduction to the game’s mechanics. After these initial quests, players can either follow the main storyline or dive directly into MMO gameplay.
Additionally, the game also features an economy where players can craft items, trade, and utilize the Ronin ($RON) currency.
How to participate in the closed beta test?
To join the closed beta, whitelisted players on PC/Mac and Android can download Lumiterra from Lumiterra’s Itch.io page, and iOS users will be able to access the game once it is approved on the Apple Store.
During the beta, players will be introduced to a new user system and experience new features such as daily tasks, on-chain resource trading, and dungeon exploration. Players can also participate in PvP battles and list items on the Mavis Market.
Feedback on any issues encountered should be reported on Discord to assist the development team in refining the game ahead of its full release.
