Web3 mobile FPS title MATR1X FIRE has begun its ‘Gold Rush’ beta test, available on iOS and Android devices. Part of the MATR1X ecosystem, this test offers players a chance to engage with revamped features in this 5v5 shooter, including improved economics, upgraded combat mechanics and more.
During the Gold Rush test, players will also have the opportunity to earn $FIRE and $USDT token, alongside in-game weapons cases – although all items will be wiped once the Gold Rush test is concluded.
The MATR1X FIRE Gold Rush test is available on iOS via TestFlight, or on Android via the Google Play Store.
What is MATR1X FIRE?
MATR1X FIRE is a 5v5 mobile shooter set in a futuristic city environment. Players engage in strategic, map-based battles – akin to popular titles such as Counter-Strike – where teamwork, precision and tactical nous are the keys to victory.
The game has received over 2.3M downloads to date, with three active modes: Teammatch, Deathmatch and Competitive.
MATR1X FIRE is part of the MATR1X web3 gaming ecosystem, which combines AI, blockchain, and esports in an effort to transform the gaming industry.

What new features are in the MATR1X FIRE Gold Rush test?
Ranked matches have been tweaked to make progression smoother and more reflective of player skill, with skill-based matchmaking aiming to make each match fairer.
The in-game economy now integrates LootHub, Character and Battle Pass systems which utilise the $MAX and $FIRE ecosystem tokens, with players now able to sync their in-game assets with their MATR1X platform accounts.
Other improvements include network synchronisation upgrades, map edits and general UI and user experience tweaks.
On top of this, characters that are Uncommon or above now generate $FIRE tokens and weapon cases, with the case unlocking process now made smoother.
