What’s up, pup! I’m Addie, also known as Apol or Apple – and guess what? I’ve joined the NFT Insider team as a Graphic Designer! POG!
I’ll be jumping around here and there making graphics and clickbait thumbnails, and you might even spot me in Discord every now and again.
Since I plan to be here for quite some time, let me take you on a trip down memory lane…
Epic Flashback
Born in the Pearl of the Orient Seas, the Philippines, a country with over 7,000 islands and my true home, I recently moved to Canada – so I guess that makes me an adventurer!
Growing up, I was a rather energetic and curious kid. I took an interest in almost anything I could get my hands on. I became passionate about tech, gaming and design, leading me to taking a Computing course in high school which, later on, would change my life forever.
I grew up playing games such as League of Legends, Pokémon and Tekken, and I do fancy some anime!
Outside of games and anime, I love to spend my time creating graphics, editing videos, eating good food, coming up with the next big million-dollar idea, and being a studious pup.
Speaking of pups, did you know I have my own NFT collection?
The World of Cryptopups
That’s right! The cutest, fluffiest, man’s best friend, cat- I mean pups! Did I mention that it’s changed my life? Because boy, oh boy, it did!
Creating the World of Cryptopups NFT collection has been the experience of a lifetime. I’ve met plenty of awesome, quirky, talented, amazing people, and it’s widened my horizons to more possibilities, and challenged me to become a better artist. I’ve created not just art, but also lifelong friendships.
The experience that the WAX community has given me is irreplaceable, and incomparable to anything else. You, the community, make being an NFT artist worth it!
But seriously, are you telling me you don’t like pups? Oh, okay, good. Who doesn’t like pups…
