Meet Jenz, NFT Insider’s Newest Content Creator
Get to know me, my background and my interests in this introductory article!
Hi, I’m Jenz, and I’m thrilled you stopped by this corner of NFT Insider!
Here’s a smiling thumbs up for visiting:
Since I’ll be writing about all things NFTs on any and all blockchains, I thought it would be best to share a little bit about myself.
I am a self-proclaimed nerd who loves nothing more than spending my days playing video games. When I’m feeling nostalgic, I’ll replay some of my favourite retro titles such as the Suikoden series, Final Fantasy and Harvest Moon.
I also enjoy reading the latest trends in gaming, whether it’s recent releases or an insider scoop on upcoming titles. I love learning about them all – which is one of the many reasons I got into blockchain gaming and the metaverse in the first place.
I’m naturally curious and passionate about learning and exploring creative ways to further my skills, but I always feel there’s so much to learn yet so little time – I know I’m not the only one!
With that in mind, it’s probably no surprise that I’m also a self-taught graphic design hobbyist and a frustrated developer/programmer wannabe. In the past, I taught myself how to code and took courses on game development for both Unity and Unreal, even trying asset creation in Blender – but sadly, I’ve never had the time to finish any of the projects I started.
Prior to NFT Insider, I spent many years in corporate learning & development – but I’ve been a long-time cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiast. I’ve been following the NFT space since 2020 and found my way to the WAX blockchain in May of last year.
Finding a company with a positive work environment and values aligned with my own was my top priority, and it’s a dream come true to be working for the team. To be able to do what I love and share what I know with the community day in and day out is so rewarding!
I’m looking forward to meeting all of you in the space, and helping to move the community forward through my writing and content.
That’s all for now. I’ll see you in the next article!
