Hi everyone! My name is Zac and I�m proud to say I�ve joined NFT insider as a new Content Writer!
Being as you�ll be seeing plenty of interesting content from me ahead, I thought it would be best to introduce myself.
First things first, my name is Zac – not Zach or Zack or God forbid Zak. I even have family members get it wrong. They�re not on my Christmas card list to say the least!
My Origin Story
I was born and raised in the �dark ages� of rural England close to the city of Peterborough. At present, I�m one of few members of my family that still live in England, with most currently living in the United States or Dubai.
Without sounding cliche, I�d love to travel the world and dive into various cultures. Thailand would be first on my list, as I feel my animal-loving personality is spiritually drawn to the astounding wildlife of its mountains, plains and coastline.
Having just graduated with a Bachelor�s degree in Biomedical Science I�m still very attached to the student sleep schedule, so when I�m not spontaneously jumping from activity to activity�
�I like to get a good 46 hours of sleep a day. I�m basically a personified cat with the attention span of celery.
Interests
Gaming-wise, I�m obsessed with late 2000�s & early 2010�s shooters. I�ve spent countless hours on the zombie modes of Call of Duty: World at War and Black Ops. I was one of those kids who would spend days researching Easter Eggs or rare items � and I�m still that same kid.
Since heading to university, I�ve struggled to find the time for games, however I�m very excited about the advent of blockchain gaming and I�m looking forward to getting my hands on the latest Web3 releases.
Outside of games, I�m a show-oholic (yes I made that phrase up, sue me). There�s very few popular shows I�m not following, but please don�t ask if I�ve watched Friends – that�s disgusting.
Some of my favourites include Altered Carbon (so underrated!) and Black Mirror (obviously), and I�ve just caught up on the newest seasons of Stranger Things and Lost In Space.
I�m also a fan of adult cartoons such as Archer or Rick and Morty, but it feels almost sinful to say that out loud.
Anyways, I�m super excited to see where working for NFT Insider will take me. I�m looking forward to growing my knowledge as blockchain technology heads towards the mainstream, and seeing where we can take NFT Insider in the meantime.
Since COVID, meeting new people has been a challenge, and I�m very much looking forward to working with like-minded people in the pink.gg team.
