Memoria has launched its own Layer 1 blockchain, Memoria L1, now live on the Avalanche network and powered by AvaCloud.
The new chain is intended to become the primary home for the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem, consolidating its gaming, NFTs, and token transactions in one network.
Alongside the launch, Memoria announced that the $ALBERT token will now serve as the core currency for all activities across the platform. Migration of assets, smart contracts, and staking features is underway as the ecosystem prepares for the next phase of its development.

What is Memoria L1?
Memoria L1 is a dedicated blockchain network designed to host the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem.
Built using Avalanche’s AvaCloud infrastructure, the chain is intended to streamline operations across Memoria’s AI gaming platform. The new network will handle all ecosystem transactions, including NFT trading, staking, and in-game activities.
To support this transition, Memoria introduced the $ALBERT token as the chain’s native currency, covering marketplace payments and gas fees. All major smart contracts and NFTs from the previous platforms, including Ethereum and Avalanche C-Chain, are being migrated to the new blockchain.
The mainnet for Memoria L1 officially went live on April 15, 2025.

How is the migration being carried out?
The migration process is divided into two phases, with the airdrop already completed. Phase 1 included several key steps:
- Activating a token bridge between Memoria L1 and Avalanche C-Chain
- Distributing $ALBERT tokens via Memo-Tickets and Memo-Points
- Migrating NFTs from previous chains
- Launching a new Memoria Artifact Collection
- Pausing and preparing Albert NFT staking for relaunch on L1
- Switching to $ALBERT as the main transaction currency
- Delivering an additional airdrop for eligible $ALBERT holders
Memoria is now moving into Phase 2, focusing on four milestones: launching the Memoria Marketplace, starting the new Idle Chronicles season, introducing the Blitz Chronicles beta, and reworking the Daily Wheel rewards system.
Following the migration, Memoria will launch an early access season for its Idle Chronicles game directly on the Memoria L1 Chain. The new season will build on feedback from the recent closed beta, which ended on April 18 and is expected to include improvements to gameplay and blockchain integration.
