NFT trading platform Mintify has raised an additional $3.4 million USD in funding to develop its cross-platform NFT orderbook, taking the project’s total funding so far to $5 million USD.
Mintify are developing a fast-execution engine that aims to aggregate web3 markets for gaming, art, and real-world assets. The platform already supports Ethereum, Base and Blast, and allows its users to access historical on and off-chain data, as well as powerful analytics tools.
Over 50 institutions and angel investors took part in this latest funding round, including Master Ventures, GM Capital and Spencer VC, alongside web3 influencer Zeneca.
What is Mintify?
Mintify is a web3 trading platform. The team is currently building the infrastructure for a global NFT orderbook, which would allow users to access, trade and observe global analytics for popular NFT collections, giving users a true look at the NFT market at large.
The platform currently supports Ethereum, Base, and Blast, and the team plans to extend their support to Ordinals before the end of 2024.
To date, Mintify has seen over 130,000 users trade digital assets on their platform, with more than 500 million trades completed since the debut of the platform in 2022.
What will this investment allow Mintify to do?
Mintify will use these funds to further their growth and development aims, and to assist with incorporating more markets, blockchains and standards into their NFT orderbook – including Ordinals.
“As tokenization accelerates and permissionless capital is on par with or exceeds traditional centralized capital, we will see more and more web2 experiences migrate or merge within decentralized technologies,” said Evan Varsamis, founder and CEO of Mintify.
“We’re exciting to sit in the middle of the economic boom that will appear on-chain with partners like Coinbase and Base leading the charge.”
Varsamis has confirmed that there will be no immediate changes to Mintify’s Board of Directors following this latest investment raise.
