Animoca Brands‘ Mocaverse is collaborating with web3 gaming platform Nifty Island to launch Round 2 of their $MOCA play to airdrop campaign.
The next Moca Odyssey Missions take place on Mocaverse Island; a multi-verse experience built by Nifty Island for Moca holders to explore. Players can earn Realm Points (RP) by completing missions in and around Mocaverse Island.
RP determine the amount of $MOCA allocated to them during the upcoming airdrop. While earning RP, players can collect airdrop points for the next $ISLAND airdrop – Nifty Island’s native token.
What is Nifty Island?
Nifty Island is a free-to-play community-driven web3 gaming platform that invites player to build and play games together, explore player-created islands and compete for crypto rewards.
According to its developers Nyft Studios, Nifty Island is “a game world powered by web3 communities, enriched with thrilling prizes, and driven by NFT-centric user-generated content.” Nifty Island has partnered with other NFT communities like Sappy Seals and Pudgy Gaming in the past.
Everyone who plays Nifty Island gets their own blank Island from the start. From there they are free to build games, experiences or anything they can think of to contribute to Nifty Island’s vibrant metaverse.
How to earn RP and airdrop points
There are four missions to complete to earn realm points:
- Mission 1: Link Moca ID to Nifty Island account – 10 RP
- Mission 2: Earn 1000 Blooms on Mocaverse Island by playing playground games – 85 RP
- Mission 3: Earn 5000 Blooms, same as Mission 2 except not restricted to Mocaverse Island – 115 RP
- Mission 4: Mint Any Bloom Rewards NFT, go to the Nifty Island Marketplace and mint a reward, minimum price is 30,000 Blooms – 190 RP
Earning RP will grant players a larger share of $MOCA after the play-to-airdrop campaign ends on November 1st. While earning RP, players can simultaneously earn airdrop points for the next $ISLAND airdrop.
A few ways to earn airdrop points include:
- Playground games and daily challenges: Earn 100 Blooms by completing challenges and playing games for 1 airdrop point
- Foot Traffic: Invite other players to your island and earn 1 airdrop point for every 1,000 Blooms they generate.
- Bloom Rewards NFTs: Unlock a Bloom Reward NFT for 50 airdrop points.
- Quests: Complete quests and participate in quest raffles to earn airdrop points.
