Web3 game studio Moonveil has confirmed the upcoming launch of its Layer-2 Chain testnet as part of its mission to create a gamer-first ecosystem.
This blockchain is designed specifically to enhance gaming experiences, offering faster transactions and better scalability.
Built using Polygon CDK and AggLayer technology, the testnet aims to create a more efficient platform for both game developers and players alike.
What is Moonveil’s Layer-2 Chain?
Moonveil’s Layer-2 Chain is a blockchain designed to support web3 gaming, utilizing ZK-proof technology, specifically from Polygon Zero, which allows for faster transaction finality and enhanced network efficiency.
By modularizing various functions, such as transactions and oracles, the chain enables developers to test and integrate new features without disrupting the overall system.

What can we expect from the testnet?

The testnet will also introduce AggLayer, an interoperability infrastructure co-developed by Polygon Labs, which supports cross-chain liquidity, making it easier for developers and users to interact across different blockchain ecosystems.
Alongside the testnet launch, Moonveil also plans to release Flaming Pets, an on-chain multiplayer game that will serve as a demonstration of the platform’s technology.
Moonveil also has announced that node sales will soon be opened, allowing the community to participate in maintaining and expanding the network.
