Fitness tracking application StepMania has recently launched on Telegram and is gaining attention for its integration of physical activity with blockchain technology.
Players can track their steps through integration with Apple Health and Google Health Connect, and earn in-game rewards such as coins and raffle tickets for real-world prizes.
Whilst similar to move-to-earn games like Stepn, StepMania distinguishes itself by eliminating the need for users to purchase NFTs in order to participate.

What is StepMania?
StepMania is a fitness-based app available on Telegram that rewards users for their physical activity.
Through integration with Apple Health and Google Health Connect, players can track their steps and other physical activities. The app offers rewards such as in-game coins and raffle tickets, which users can enter into drawings for various prizes such as smartphones, gaming consoles, fitness trackers, Telegram Premium subscriptions and more.
The app also includes features like leaderboards, squad challenges, and influencer-hosted tournaments. Unlike other similar apps, StepMania does not require users to purchase NFTs to start earning rewards, making it more accessible to a wider audience.

When is the token launch?
StepMania shared that at they are launching a token sometime in the future though the exact date is yet to be revealed.
This token will be launched on The Open Network (TON), in accordance with Telegram’s requirement that all apps with crypto integrations on its platform must operate on TON.
The token launch is expected to provide additional ways for users to engage with the app and expand the rewards system. Backed by The Open Platform (TOP), StepMania plans to collaborate with other TON-based projects, brands, and wearable technology companies to enhance its offerings in the coming months.
