Hello all, John here. It’s been a while!
What started as a solo endeavour grew into a team of contributors, three years of articles, dozens of YouTube videos and almost 100 podcast episodes.
NFT Insider was a unique voice in web3. One that cut through the noise to provide an honest, refreshing take on web3.
It existed to champion the best of web3. To advocate for the potential that blockchain technology held. To inform and entertain in equal measure, and to provide both a welcome hand to newcomers, and supply the in-depth insights that hardcore enthusiasts seek.
Starting in March 2021, we had the honour, responsibility and privilege of writing, researching, editing and producing content on the burgeoning web3 industry.
We interviewed industry giants. We uncovered untold stories. We learned alongside you – step-by-step, day-by-day in this ever-changing new digital horizon.
From September 2021, pink.gg made it possible. It bought the brand. It gave us editorial freedom. It supported us, and gave us the resources to allow both myself and what would become our wider team to work in web3 full-time.
When pink.gg was wound down two years later, NFT Insider sat in hibernation. The team disbanded, and, unable to fund the reacquisition of the brand and the cost to support the site myself, I believed – with a heavy heart – that the story of NFT Insider was to end there.
I was wrong.
I’d met Chris, CEO and founder of POW3R Media, at AtomicHub Live: London in November 2022. Fast-forward to December 2023, and I was now working with him, discussing ambitious growth plans for 2024 and beyond.
NFT Insider is a part of those plans.
Today, it was announced that POW3R Media had purchased NFT Insider and its remaining assets to sit alongside its existing blockchain entities: NFT news outlet NFT Plazas, web3 magazine MagNFT, weekly newsletter Nifty Notes and virtual world advertising service Metaverse Residents.
At long last, we’re back.
Our mission is the same – to both chronicle and champion the best of web3 for newcomers and enthusiasts alike.
One of the team is back too, with Jenz making a return. Those not joining us have thankfully found new roles elsewhere, and to all of you – I am forever indebted to you for helping make NFT Insider what it was, is and will continue to be. Thank you.

Initially, we will focus on our website, with written coverage by myself and the POW3R Media team. We have exciting plans for future expansion, including the revival of our YouTube channel and podcast at a later date – but let’s walk before we can run.
As of today, NFT Insider is back – and I alongside the rest of the team are thankful for your continued support. Without you, we simply don’t exist.
