Tap-to-Earn title Notcoin, one of the originators of the current Telegram-based tap-to-earn game genre, has partnered with two of its most popular “clones”, Pixeltap and Musk Empire.
This unexpected development was announced one day prior to the launch of Pixelverse’s $PIXFI token, and will reward Pixeltap and Musk Empire players with their own $NOT token.
Posting to their official Telegram channel, the Notcoin team noted that they “love to see such win-win integrations, and how both Empire’s and Notcoin community benefit from it. Mining apps that turn into real games have a huge potential and we want to see more games like this.”
What will Notcoin’s partnership with Pixeltap involve?
As with other tap-to-earn titles, Pixeltap rewards repeated screen tapping with coins – but differentiates by allowing players to upgrade cyberpunk-style robot pets to fight against other players to earn more currency.
Pixeltap’s partnership with Notcoin means that people holding the $NOT token are set to receive new utility, including the ability to stake $NOT, and access to Pixelverse-themed quests with a $250,000 USD prize pool.
$NOT will be further integrated within the Pixelverse ecosystem, and Platinum and Gold Notcoin players will receive additional perks in the Pixelverse, with more details to be announced soon.
How will Notcoin’s partnership with Musk Empire work?
Musk Empire sees players tap to acquire Musk dollars, purchase upgrades to improve the speed and quantity in which these dollars can be earned, and level up their own digitalised version of the Tesla CEO.
Musk Empire unveiled their collaboration with Notcoin by adding Notcoin themes into the game and giving exclusive missions to Notcoin holders, with extra missions available for those who have achieved Gold or Platinum level.
To earmark the partnership, Musk Empire has now rebranded to NOT Empire.
