Gunzilla Games, the developer behind the upcoming battle royale game Off the Grid, has announced the expansion of its Pioneers Program to include players on PlayStation 5.
The program, which was initially launched to PC users through the Epic Games Store, allowed selected participants access to and test pre-release versions of the game.
With a launch planned on Xbox Series X|S later this year, along with cross-play tests in the near future, Gunzilla Games is bringing this possibility to many more players who wish to actively participate in the development process.
What is Off The Grid Pioneers Game Program?
The Pioneers Program is an initiative launched to allow early participants, referred to as “Original Zeroes,” to be directly involved in the development of the game. Original Zeroes will be able to take part in weekly playtests and provide their feedback on an exclusive Discord channel.
Program members gain early access to unfinished game builds that introduce them to many of the under-development game modes, features, and content. This helps Gunzilla Games in gathering feedback on various gameplay aspects, including cyberlimbs, weapons, and game modes.
By joining the Pioneers Program, participants get a head start on their journey in the “Off the Grid” game, beginning their in-game progression ahead of the general public. In addition, all in-game items earned during the program will carry over into the official launch.
How to participate in the Off the Grid Pioneers Program?
Interested players can apply to join the Pioneers Program by visiting the official Off the Grid game website or joining the OTG Discord server.
The program is exclusive to select participants based on their hardware capabilities, geographic location, and gaming preferences. Applicants have to fill in a survey and, if selected, will receive an invitation through email.
All selected participants are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). This agreement restricts the sharing of gameplay details or footage outside the designated channels.
