Paradise Tycoon has launched its Safe Harbor event, offering players a chance to earn $MOANI tokens and other in-game rewards.
Running from March 8 to March 23, 11:59 PM UTC, this event challenges participants to contribute items to a developing harbor in exchange for leaderboard points. The top 100 players will receive various rewards, with the highest-ranked player earning 100,000 $MOANI tokens and three exclusive items.
This event is part of the game’s broader expansion, as players assist in upgrading Port Ohana’s harbor, a key location for future gameplay developments. Contributions reset daily, requiring players to stay engaged and strategically select the best items to maximise their points.
What is Paradise Tycoon?
Paradise Tycoon is a multiplayer simulation game that allows players to build, trade, and interact within a virtual world. The game incorporates a play-to-earn model, where players can gather resources, complete tasks, and participate in events to earn in-game assets. Currently in open beta, the game continues to expand with new features, events, and blockchain-based rewards.
Recent developments indicate that Paradise Tycoon will introduce Genesis Island NFTs, transition MOANI tokens into an on-chain currency, and launch the Harvest Festival event.
Whilst the World Creation Event was initially planned for Q1 2025, it may be pushed to Q2 2025. Future updates also include user-generated content monetization and AI-generated crew members.
How to participate in the Safe Harbor Event?
To participate in the Safe Harbor event, players must contribute daily items to help expand Port Ohana’s harbor.
The items required for contribution change each day, and higher-value items provide more points. Players accumulate points to move up the leaderboard, with the top 100 receiving various rewards.
The grand prize winner will receive:
- 100,000 MOANI tokens
- Infernal Cleave: First Fragment – A crafting material for a mythical axe
- Rare Genesis Island – A future in-game land asset
- Ancient Key – An NFT item that unlocks a portal leading to additional in-game content
Players can access the event via the Paradise Tycoon web platform or through the Android app on Google Play. The event concludes on March 23, giving participants a limited window to climb the leaderboard and secure their rewards.
