Popular web3 farming game Pixels has announced a fresh airdrop for its native $PIXEL will start today, following the news that from tomorrow, their Farm Land NFTs will be eligible to be bridged to the Ronin Network.
Sky Mavis – the creators of Axie Infinity – are facilitating the move of Pixels NFTs onto their own EVM blockchain on Ronin in order to support Pixels’ substantial player count and improve the the efficiency of transactions on the Mavis Marketplace.
Ronin has proven capable of scaling Pixels explosive growth, handling over $4 billion in NFT transactions to date – a boon for Farm Land NFT owners wishing to capitalise on their holdings.
Players who bridge their Farm Land NFTs to Ronin will be rewarded with as-yet-undisclosed in-game rewards, provided they submit four snapshots of their Pixels Farm Land on Ronin from April 3 at 1pm PST. Additional opportunities to be a recipient of these in-game rewards is set to follow.

Amidst this impending asset bridge to Ronin, excitement builds for today’s $PIXEL airdrop. Four airdrop categories have been assigned, depending on player holdings taken fro ma February 8 snapshot.
As per a recent X announcement, the rewards allocated to each tier are as follows:
- Tier 1: Staking 1 $RON, users receive 183.34 $PIXEL
- Tier 2: Staking 55 $RON, users a 675.75 $PIXEL
- Tier 3: Staking 684.64 $RON earns users 2,315.77 $PIXEL
- Tier 4: Staking 8,317.4 $RON, users receive 3,955.11 $PIXEL
To qualify for the airdrop, wallets must have maintained or increased their tier since the initial snapshot, with rewards based on the February 8 placement. Wallets that have decreased in tier, or were made after February 8, are ineligible for the airdrop.
According to CoinGecko, $PIXEL is one of the hottest tokens this week, boasting a 24-hour trading volume of $132 million USD and a market cap nearing $593 million USD.
Notably, the trading volume of $PIXEL skyrocketed to over $500 million USD shortly after the token was listed on Binance last month.
