After announcing an alliance in April 2025, Ronin-based games Pixels and Forgotten Runiverse have kicked-off a major crossover event, with 5 million $PIXEL tokens up for grabs.
Beginning on May 5 at 19 UTC, the event – taking place within Forgotten Runiverse – allows players to offer up the in-game currency Quanta in return for a share of the 5 million $PIXEL reward pool.
$PIXEL can now be used within Forgotten Runiverse to acquire Mana, Boosts and exclusive mounts and cosmetics that are themed around the Pixels game.

What is the Pixels x Forgotten Runiverse Crossover Event?
As mentioned, this Pixels x Forgotten Runiverse event allows Quanta – the in-game currency of Forgotten Runiverse – to be effectively exchanged for a share of the 5 million $PIXEL reward pool on offer.
$PIXEL can now be used within Forgotten Runiverse to purchase in-game perks, such as Mana, an assortment of Boosts, and two exclusive Pixels-themed rewards – the Pixels Cow Mount, and the Pixels Robe Cosmetic.
Each of these Pixels-themed rewards comes in three distinct tiers, and all can be minted on-chain, will players able to buy, sell or trade them as they wish.
On top of this, $PIXEL can now be staked within Forgotten Runiverse, offering passive Quanta rewards for players.
To exchange Quanta for $PIXEL, click the Event button – the same location for Daily Boosts – and the Pixels x Forgotten Runiverse event will appear. Choose how much Quanta you would like to offer up, and you’ll receive an equivalent $PIXEL reward.
What’s new in Forgotten Runiverse?
The introduction of this Pixels x Forgotten Runiverse event coincides with the debut of several new in-game features within Forgotten Runiverse.
Firstly, Landowners can now set a split of earnings between co-owners, builders and visitors, making it even easier for players, guild-mates and the travelling public to work together and earn Quanta.
Building Infusions have made their debut – effectively a Boost system for buildings. This leads to better outputs – for example increased Mana generation for Temples, extra resources from Gathering Stations, better crafting results from Forges, and much more.
Delves have also been introduced – open-world events that challenge players in a variety of ways for a share of rewards.
This initial event is rumoured to be the first of many cross-game interactions between Pixels and Forgotten Runiverse – two of the biggest titles on the Ronin Network. As of writing, there has been no confirmation on whether this event is a one-off, or if further events are planned in future.
