Planet Mojo, a web3 game studio known for titles such as Mojo Melee and WWA, is set to shut down all of its games by July 1, 2025.
The studio made the announcement on May 31 through its official Discord server, marking a major change in direction for the team, which had previously focused on blockchain-enabled gaming experiences built on the Polygon network.
The decision comes amid what the company described as “shifting market realities,” which have made it unsustainable to continue development. Planet Mojo said it will instead redirect its efforts to a new product called MovieFlo.AI—an artificial intelligence-based video creation tool.

Why is Planet Mojo shutting down all its games?
Planet Mojo stated that it can no longer maintain development of its games “at the level they deserve” due to changes in the market. Although the team did not provide financial details, the decision reflects a broader trend of web3 gaming projects scaling back or ending operations in 2025.
The affected games include Mojo Melee, Mojo Maker, GoGo Mojo, Prophecy of the Ancients, and WWA (World Wide Agents). These titles were part of Planet Mojo’s plan to explore player ownership, community engagement, and blockchain integration. All games will remain accessible until July 1, and in-game rewards—such as those from WWA’s first season—will be distributed before the shutdown.
Whilst the studio has not confirmed whether any of its titles or assets will be revived in the future, it has made clear that ongoing development is no longer feasible under current conditions.

What’s next for Planet Mojo?
As it ends development of its gaming titles, Planet Mojo is turning its attention to a new product called MovieFlo.AI—a platform designed to let users create short videos or cinematic content using AI tools. The goal is to make video production accessible without requiring professional equipment or technical skills.
MovieFlo.AI is currently in development, with early access planned through a private alpha. Members of the Planet Mojo community will be eligible to join the waitlist and participate in testing.
The studio describes this shift as a way to explore a new area of digital creativity, though it remains unclear how the new platform will be received or monetised.
