Prada Welcomes 2023 With A Phygital NFT Shirt Drop

A Fusion of Fashion and Blockchain: Prada’s Exclusive Timecapsule NFT

On January 5th, the Italian fashion house brings in the New Year with a poplin shirt, in partnership with photographer Enzo Ragazzini!

Prada, the luxury Italian fashion house, has announced that on January 5th, the eighth instalment of their phygital Timecapsule NFT collection will drop on Ethereum.

The drop sees Prada collaborate with artistic Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini on a phygital garment, featuring prints of a 1969 piece exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

The garment, #37 in the collection, sees a poplin shirt adorned with a wrap-around monochrome print of Ragazzinis work, with the front pocket featuring an enamelled Prada triangle logo and JANUARY across the shoulders.

All holders are invited to join Prada Crypted, an exclusive Discord community of Prada fans and NFT collectors, with member-only events and experiences.

One lucky holder and a guest will be invited to Milan for the Prada Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show on January 15.

What Is The Prada Timecapsule Collection?

On the first Thursday of each month, Prada release limited quantities of a brand-new Timecapsule Collection garment, available for only 24 hours via the Ethereum blockchain.

Each limited-edition item is given a unique serial number, and is delivered in custom packaging. When purchasing from the Timecapsule collection, customers can redeem the connected NFT shortly after the completion of the sale.

These NFT include both the serial number of the drop, and the serial number for the connected physical item, guaranteeing a direct link between the physical and virtual products.

To be eligible for the drop, you must:

The poplin shirt drop is open for 24 hours, starting Thursday, January 4th at 14 UTC, and is limited to 50 items.
