Pudgy Penguins: Polar Challenge is an arcade machine, and an officially-licensed product of the Pudgy Penguins brand.
Developed by TouchMagix, and debuting in September 2024, the game sees players put their timing skills to the test, with Pengu avoiding obstacles such as seals, orcas, and other predators with the goal of getting the highest score and winning as many arcade tickets as possible.
Polar Challenge can be found in arcades across the USA – and with 500 units shipped and counting, it is one of the fastest-growing new arcade machines in the United States.

Polar Challenge is just one aspect of Pudgy Penguins expansion over the past 12 months.
Last week, Pudgy Penguins announced a trio of new initiatives with the aim to grow the brand even further. This included a deal with Random House to publish children’s book Worst Birthday Gift Ever in November 2025, the release of animated series Lil Pudgys on May 16, 2025, and the release of Telegram game Pengu Clash in May 2025.
According to Creative Lead @chefgoyardi, the book and animated series are at the core of a new “unique identity” for Lil Pudgys, with the aim for Lil Pudgys to attract a younger audience, allowing the main Pudgy Penguins brand to focus on its core young adult demographic.
