The Ahnangs are coming!
This Thursday (June 1), R-Planet, a cross-chain web3 RTS title developed by WECAN, are launching their new Ahnangs Invasion server. With these cruel space pirates on the loose, 1,000 players will be faced with a fresh challenge on a brand-new map, forming alliances to save the R-Planet universe.
Let’s look at this new server, and what you can expect!
What can we expect from Ahnangs Invasion?
As with previous servers, players will build up their bases and form alliances to take control of the map. The maximum number of players is limited to 1,000, with players unable to attack one another for their first 72 hours.
Five equal Ahnangs bases can be found, one in each region and one in the centre. Whilst Ahnangs will not attack players directly from their bases, wandering squads of Ahnangs will pose a threat to players, engaging in hostile raids for your resources. If defeated, these Ahnang parties may have valuable resources to loot!
Ahnang bases are protected for the first 30 days, and are heavily guarded by vast numbers of combat units. If an alliance is able to capture and retain control of an Ahnang base for 10 days, they secure victory – but be warned, other alliances will be coming for you!
The triumphant alliance will secure a splendour of extraordinary items for their Heroes. Speaking of which…
What can we expect from Ahnangs Invasion?
R-Planet now supports Hero NFTs on both BNB and WAX.
Each player starts with a hero called Drake, capped to 50 levels, used in missions, battles and activities. Drake can be substituted for a more powerful Hero NFT, capped to 200 levels, with a diverse array of appearances and characteristics.
On Ahnangs Invasion, players can enhance their heroes through the use of upgrade points, earned by gaining levels as they play. These upgrades will make you increasingly powerful, and will be crucial in your alliance coming out on top!
To keep the game balanced, fun and fair, a number of other changes have been made:
- Players cannot send resources to eachother for the first 5 days; done to combat the attractiveness of multi-accounts
- Players cannot be eliminated from the server; even if all robots and buildings are lost, you will still retain ownership of your final base
How can I take part?
R-Planet is available on both the Apple Store and the Google Play store.
The Ahnangs Invasion server opens on June 1, but ahead of its official launch, a practice server is now live, allowing players to scope the map and train their skills before the real battle begins!
We’ll see you on the battlefield!
