Web3 gaming blockchain Ronin Network has reached 2 million Daily Active Users (DAU) – a major milestone that earmarks the growth of web3 gaming, and the position of Ronin as one of the biggest gaming blockchains.
With these 2 million daily active users, a staggering 2.74 million transactions were made on the Ronin blockchain on July 25, driven by leading Ronin-based titles such as Pixels.
Ronin has recently attracted other major titles, including MMO Forgotten Runiverse and Kaidro Clan Battles – which launch an Alpha test today – and is the home of Axie Infinity, one of the most popular web3 games in history.

What is Ronin?
Ronin is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible Layer-1 blockchain. It has been designed to power the top blockchain games by providing effective scalability, lower gas fees and optimizing transaction speeds on Ethereum.
$RON is the utility token for the Ronin blockchain, with games and projects also able to create their own ecosystem tokens, such as $PIXEL or $AXS. $RON, currently priced at $2.06 USD per token, is used for governance, transactions and staking on the Ronin blockchain.
Ronin has become a go-to choice for web3 game developers by offering smooth, lag-free gameplay, effortless onboarding and seamless transactions for millions of users. This has enabled it to power games with large communities such as Axie Infinity and Pixels, whilst attracting other major titles to the network.
Ronin was built by Axie Infinity developers Sky Mavis in 2021 to meet the demands of high-user web3 gaming, powering the first play-to-earn boom and becoming one of the top chains for blockchain-based gaming.
