There is one day remaining for players of map-based web3 TCG Shardbound to earn rewards in its second beta event, titled Ruins of the Weaver.
Players of this Immutable-based title will take on a series of tough stages, with rare in-game rewards on offer for those that complete them.
This free-to-play event is set to conclude on August 6 at 18 UTC.
What is Shardbound?
Developed by Bazooka Tango and Immutable Games, Shardbound is a free-to-play multiplayer TCG currently in a limited beta phase following its launch on the Epic Games Store in June 2024.
The game combines elements of map-based turn-based strategy with traditional TCG elements. Players command an array of characters on a battlefield of hexagonal tiles, utilising a variety of cards to perform attacks, activate abilities and tackle their opponents.
The game is built on the Immutable zkEVM, and supports the Immutable Passport, allowing for easy onboarding and asset integration for crypto newcomers.

What happens in the Ruins of the Weaver event?
In this solo challenge, players take on a series of five stages again AI commanders that wield novel decks and upgraded cards. With each stage completed, players will earn better prizes, with Rare and Epic Shards, Cores and exclusive cards up for grabs.
In Stage 1, contenders face Professor Mori and his Level 1 cards, harboring a Deck Power of 764. Rewards on offer are a Quillblade card (Rare), alongside 500 Elemental Shards and 500 Upgrade Cores.
Moving on to Stage 2, the difficulty increases as players face General Vardan with his Level 2 cards and a Deck Power of 914 – with successful players acquiring a rare Exhume card, 1000 Elemental Shards, and 500 Upgrade Cores.
Stage 3 sees Baroness Sabine as your opponent, with Level 4 cards and a Deck Power of 1400. Upon completion, players are rewarded with two rare Devoted Curate cards, 2500 Elemental Shards, and 1500 Upgrade Cores.
The penultimate Stage 4 is held by Director Petra, who possesses Level 6 cards and a Deck Power of 1846 – with rewards of an epic Efficiency Expert card, 1000 Radiant Shards, and 1500 Upgrade Cores.
The ultimate challenge, Stage 5, is the realm of Venerator Wynn’s Level 7 cards, with a daunting Deck Power of 2186. The most skilled players can overcome this challenge to claim an epic Rank Breaker card, 2500 Radiant Shards, and 2500 Cores.
