Web3 TCG Splinterlands Revamp New Player Experience

Popular web3 TCG Splinterlands is introducing significant changes to its Voucher system, in a revamp of the new player experience.

On top of making it easier for new players to enter the Spinterlands ecosystem, this update also adds a DEC/Voucher liquidity pool to the game and removes Voucher trading from decentralised exchanges, making the game more compliant with current regulations.

The ideas behind these updates were proposed to the Splinterlands community in July, and following community approval, these updates are now to be released, starting from today (August 15).

What is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a web3 trading card game built on the Ethereum blockchain.

Players face-off in head-to-head deck-based battles, mixing traditional TCG elements with auto-battler combat. Games are fast-paced, often lasting only a few minutes, with strategy, forward-thinking and clever tactics being key to success.

Over 500 unique blockchain-based cards can be collected, and players can also earn cryptocurrency through completing quests, succeeding in ranked play, and competing in tournaments.
