Blockchain-based title Star Atlas and cloud gaming platform Shaga is offering up to $100,000 in rewards to online creators.
The campaign requires participants to stream gameplay from their PC whilst allowing viewers to join and play live on mobile devices. Whilst the campaign officially starts April 17 to April 30, the eligibility window to qualify started on April 8 and extends until April 14.
Creators who meet the requirements can earn digital rewards including tokens, in-game items, and platform-based points.
What is Shaga?
Shaga is a cloud gaming platform that allows PC games to be streamed directly to mobile devices.
Unlike traditional cloud gaming models, which serve end users directly, Shaga focuses on enabling content creators to broadcast their sessions and share access with viewers.
Viewers do not need to download any software or own a gaming PC. Instead, they can connect to the stream and take control of the game temporarily using only a mobile device or tablet.
How to become eligible for the creator campaign?
To participate in the campaign, creators must submit a 30 to 60 second video that demonstrates a viewer in their region actively playing Star Atlas via Shaga. The gameplay must be streamed from the creator’s PC and accessed by the viewer on a mobile device or tablet, without needing their own gaming setup.
This campaign is open to creators with at least 500 followers on one of the following social platforms: X, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok. Participants must post their video clip to X, tag @playonshaga with the phrase “Streaming with Shaga.”
Entries are reviewed by organisers, and accepted participants receive digital rewards. These include:
- $ATLAS – the in-game currency used for purchases and transactions in Star Atlas
- Digital ships – usable and tradable items within the game
- 100,000 GLOB points – Shaga’s native point system tied to engagement on its platform
All accepted participants will receive GLOB points redeemable for future perks, airdrops, and unlockable content.
